Guys I was able to start after installing java platform standard edition 6 version 6 update 7 (build 1.6.0_07-b06). Just google "jre-6u7-windows-i586-p" download and install and hopefully the problem will be resolved.

Hi!

Are you running the 32 or the 64 bit version of loadUI? Are you running loadUI 1.5 stable or nightly build?

Thanks

I have resolve this problem as follows....

javaws -uninstall
then, start LoadUI... then javaFx will be reinstalled,
then LoadUI will start successfully.

Hi,

I tried all of the above, and still getting the same problem (worked Friday).

The last combo i tried was:
http://dfn.dl.sourceforge.net/project/l ... -1_5_0.exe
with
jdk-6u7-windows-i586-p.exe

Also tried with the lates java version.

Now im removing all java and loadui instalations and trying once more from scratch, what combination should i try?

Running win xp prof sp3 32 bit.

Hello Henrik,

Guess the question is for me.Well i'm sorry i can't recollect what was the message when i clicked the details button and also that i kind of resolved the issue for time being myself.Anyways if i get the same issue i'll be more than happy to report you all the details.
Although, i'm not able to recollect any information about what happened upon clicking details button, but i can tell you that i uninstalled the java version and replaced it with JRE 1.6.0_07.Before reinstalling there were two version of JRE.So i guess there was some kind of conflict with the version of JRE.

Regards!

What I would need is a confirmed working combination for 32 bit win xp:

What JRE / JDK version to install?
Nightly or stable version of loadUI?
Take away the '+' in JNLP or not ( <j2se version="1.6+" java-vm-args=...)

I got it to work on another machine that was still on Java 6 update 29. Installed stable build and edited away the "+".

Trying to restore my normal machine, will post result in a while.

Hello everyone!

I have tested this on a new computer and it worked fine, but I have a theory. Oracle has been lagging behind on updating some certificates for JavaFX (we are pushing them to update this).

What you need to make sure is that when you first start loadUI, you click Run in the dialogs that looks similar to this:

There will be two of these dialogs, and they sometimes lose focus quick so you cannot see them without minimizing loadUI.

Let me know if this makes any difference.

PS. If it doesn't work, also try to execute "javaws -uninstall" from the cmd prompt.
