Our developer Dain, from the loadUI team, has been doing a bit more than just developing lately. Being quite the vagabond, Dain has spent his latest time travelling our websites. The problem is, he keeps getting lost and we can’t find him. Can you help?
Final day competition:
Alright, it’s now the final day for the Where in the World is Dain competition and the rules are a bit different. This time Dain is hiding inside loadUI, and he doesn’t have his usual Waldo-attire. The first person to find him will get to become their very own easter egg inside loadUI together with a brag-worthy t-shirt. We still have 10 of the regular T-shirts to give out today, as well. So even if you’re not first you can still win something cool.
What you’re looking for is the image you can see on the right. When you find him, take a screenshot and attach/link it to a tweet which mentions @soapUI or @SmartBear.
A good starting point today is to download loadUI and reading the tweeted clue above.
For 10 workdays, starting July 9th, we’ll post one clue everyday as to where you can find him on that day. We’ll post the hint on Twitter, @soapUI and @SmartBear, and on the loadUI.org and soapUI.org frontpage. If you manage you find him all you need to do is click him and use the Twitter-button you see there. By doing this you can let us know you’ve found him, so we can get him back to developing loadUI again.
Every day we’ll randomly pick 10 people from the previous day who will receive this really neat t-shirt (see right). You can be in the raffle each day, so if you didn’t get anything the first day, just try again the next. Also, there’s no limit of the amount of times you can win, so even if you did receive a t-shirt, join us the next day again for a chance to get one to give a friend (or keep yourself, you hoarder).
On the final day, July 20th, we got a grand prize. The first person to find Dain on this day will get to become their very own Easter egg inside of loadUI, by having their picture inside the software. They’ll also receive the brag-worthy t-shirt stating “I am an Easter egg”. For the remaining contestants this day we will still choose 10 people to send the other t-shirt. More instructions about finding this final Dain will be posted before July 20th on the current page.
